Already September?

Is it already September tomorrow? Does it mean that fall is really on its way?? Ayayay, summer past so fast this year, but it’s not a bad thing since my boyfriend and I are taking our vacation early of October, so it will start our fall season pretty well right!

We’ll start our little roadtrip in Seattle, as cheesy as it might look, I can’t wait to see the Space Needle!! After that,  we’ll be heading to Portland, the land of food trucks yay! And the cherry on top, to finish our trip, San Francisco!

For my monthly street style inspiration, I also added some pics that I had kept on my Pinterest. Hope you’ll enjoy!! xx

Viva Las Vegas

I’m back from Vegas, while I was on my way there, in the air last Sunday, I made a post for you. The thing is that the application on my phone for my blog buged and the post never left as I thought… FAIL!!! It was about some tips on what to wear and bring on a plane. Now, that I’m back it’s not really relevant so I made a fresh new one for you, with some pictures I took while I was there.

Unfortunately there’s a lot of pictures I can’t share, but it will give you a good idea of the vibe between the different fashion trade shows :) If you have any questions, don’t be shy!

GANNI SS15 Runway

Ok, I know I’m late to show you these Runways images, but it was on my to-do-list since the Copenhagen Fashion Week. I’ve been busy lately, but it’s not an excuse!!

If you already know this brand, you might know that it’s totally my type of clothes, if you don’t know them, then I’m more than happy to show you their perfect sporty chic spring 2015 collection.

First “The White Dress” seriously, can that dress can be more perfect? Then, the dark grey wrap dress, eehhhhh I need it now!!! I also love the floral maxi dress, OK enough talking, I’ll leave the pictures talk for themselves!

You can’t contain yourself and need some Ganni now? You can shop their Fall collection here ;)

Palm Spring

Palm Spring

No I’m not in Palm Spring, one of my co-worker, called me this name when she saw my vest this week ;) I have to admit that the sequins mixed with the pattern, make this vest look like it comes right from the 90′s”!

But it’s not, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of years ago in NYC, not in Palm Spring haha! They used to have a collection called Fashion Against AIDS that helped Raise Funds for AIDS. I don’t know why they stopped, I remember that I used to wait for this collection to hit the stores. I love this vest, it’s a perfect item you can add to an outfit to add a touch of fun! Do you have a piece like that in your wardrobe? Tell me about it!

Welcome August

August already, yep it’s always like that, I never see the summer pass. But it is not finished yet!! A new month and it’s time for a new street style inspiration. Let me inspire you with the best from the streets!!

They are mostly from the latest Paris fall winter fashion week and some from Milan. This is a good guide for what we can expect for this autumn. The usual plaid mix with leather and some fur. Giant scarf worn as a coat, neoprene and the culotte is what you will see more as transitional pieces.

What is your favourite look?

Sunday Inspirations

Cow

Anabelle

Happy Sunday, I’m feeling rustic today.  While I was doing my grocery on Lufa Farms this morning, it made me want to spend the day at a farm, to smell the fresh grass, eat local food and enjoy life.

Eating local is really important for me, and since I live in the city, it’s difficult to get fresh vegetable and fruit from the local farms. So last year my boyfriend and I got a membership at Lufa Farms. It’s a rooftop farm on a roof of a Montreal Building. We get a box of fresh products every week and this all year around since it’s a greenhouse.

It’s eco-friendly and it makes me feel good everytime we get a box from them, and the most important part, is that their product are crazy good and fresh.

You are from Montreal and you want to be part of it? Please go read about their vision here

The Lufa Farms slogan is “Our vision is a city of rooftop farms”.

Half Bun

Trends-setters.com-Half-Bun

Samurai inspiration? No, this is not where I found this hair look! You know my hair is at the length  that is not long enough nor short enough, and I’m missing inspiration right now…

I’ve seen this look on runways at the latest fashion week, and I found this very interesting. I wasn’t sure if it would look good on me, but I have to say that I like it! First,  it’s perfect for hot summer days, and it’s different from the usual bun!

If you have any good idea of how I should wear my hair at this length, let me know!!

That Denim Shirt

That Denim Shirt

Every girl should have in her wardrobe an oversized denim shirt. Whatever the wash, it is such an easy piece to grab when you don’t know what to wear.

You can wear it in so many different ways. That day, I was wearing it  practically like a dress, but I was wearing short short underneath it. In this editorial, I was wearing it with a knot at the front with skinny black denim. You can also use it as a vest, over a white tee and boyfriend jeans!

These pictures are from Friday night, after work, I changed my outfit for this comfy look, denim shirt, silk short-short, a black panama hat, birks and my minimalist tote from Rachel F available soon at Little Burgundy :) Happy Sunday xx
