Chanel Cruise 2015 Dubai

Welcome to the Mille Et Une Nuits version of Lagerfeld! For this Chanel Cruise collection Karl Lagerfeld choose Dubai to present the collection and to get his inspiration. He wanted to bring a modern touch and he thought that this was the perfect city to bring his project to life.

He asked his Chanel jeweler to come in Dubai and create fantasy jewelry. I love the moon headpiece, it’s so delicate and beautiful, one of my favorite pieces of this collection.

To create his prints, he took his inspiration from ceramic tile from the 11e and 12e century  Muslim Spain and from North of Africa. He said that it’s a modern version of the Chanel style. It is not personally my favorite collection, but I love to way he makes me want to be in Dubai wearing those fancy harems pants and feel like a princess!

Tartan

Jacon-Tartan-Trouser-Angora-Sweater-H&M

Do you remember this post when I was looking for green tartan trousers? Well I found the perfect pair, they are from Jacob. They offer them in two colorways, green like mine and red. For those who are familiar with Quebec, you probably know Jacob well, for those who are not, well Jacob is a Canadian brand that’s been growing since the 60’s. With their 100 stores across Canada, we have much to be proud of this Quebec brand!

Tartan is the pattern of the season, we have seen it in a smooth version in Stella McCartney‘s latest collection and more punk with Karl Lagerfeld’s capsule called Punk on sale exclusively at Net-a-Porter. There is something fun with this design, it can be worn so many ways, this is how I wanted to wear it on this gray Sunday .
