Bienvenue dans la version Mille Et Une Nuit de Lagerfeld! Pour cette collection Croisière de Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld a choisi Dubaï cette fois pour présenter sa ligne et trouver son inspiration. Il tenait à apporter une touche moderne et il a pensé que c’était la ville parfaite pour mener son projet à vie.
Il a demandé à son bijoutier Chanel de venir à Dubaï et de créer des bijoux de fantaisie. J’adore la demi-lune, tout en délicatesse et si jolie, un de mes morceaux préférés de cette collection.
Pour créer ses imprimés, il s’est inspiré des carreaux de céramique du 11e et 12e siècle de l’Espagne musulmane et du nord de l’Afrique. Pour lui c’est une version moderne du style Chanel. Ce n’est pas personnellement ma collection préférée, mais j’aime qu’elle me donne envie d’être à Dubaï, de porter ces pantalons harems et de me sentir comme une princesse!
