The post Packing For Japan For Fall season appeared first on Trends Setters.
]]>I’m leaving perhaps only in 41 days for Japan, (yes I count the days) but I already know what will be part of my luggage (at least most of it). Minimalist outfit, based on good classic silhouette, good fabric and tonal colours. Since we go there at the beginning of fall, the day should be around 24 degrees, but at night a good leather jacket or a comfy sweater might be required.
In terms of shoes, of course, my all-time favorite will be part of the trip, the best comfortable shoes ever, my Adidas Stella McCartney ultra boost. I might also bring one practical dress that can be worn casually during the day and more sophisticated at night for a fancy dinner date with my love.
I am super excited for his trip, I planned it with a new app that I discovered this year, Sygic Travel. A really helpful app, where you can add place you want to visit on a map, and you can plan your trip by day. For example, in Tokyo it is recommended planning your trip one day per neighborhood since there is so much to see in each of them Sygic travel was the best to help me plan my day and make sure, I am not missing anything. Of course this is a guideline, and we might at the end discover something else on the route and that is perfect, it’s just help plan in general our week in Tokyo.
Finally, I just got back from Vegas/LA and I’m leaving next week for London/Milan, I’m super excited, a lot of traveling lately. Stay tuned on my Instagram for update xx

]]>I’m so in a vacay mood today, but unfortunately I’m not, but it’s Sunday and it’s sunny outside, so let’s just pretend!! This outfit will certainly be part of my luggage for my next trip. Layering is ideal for travelling, you can adapt during the day depending on the weather. I also love these Boston Birkenstock, ok, I have to agree that they’re really not for everyone. They’re chunky and not feminine, but comfortable, so who cares, I like them!
How beautiful is this park, (where we took the pictures) It’s near Atwater market and we go through it all the time when we do our jogging, but we never take the time to enjoy it. It’s lovely with all the different flowers and so relaxing with the signing of the birds. It’s one of the gem in my neighbourhood. Its name is also beautiful, Parc des Marchands-de-Bois, it’s on Rufus Rockhead, if you want to go take a look!

]]>I’m not talking about the dog, I mean the shoe brand! Jack Purcell is the comfortable version of the classic Chuck Taylor from Converse. They are easy to recognize, wit their iconic black smile at the toe of the shoe!
It has been a while since I wore them, they are perfect to explore a city, and since I was in Quebec City last week-end visiting my family, I brought them in my luggage! They fit perfectly with my casual week-end outfit and they are confortable enough to walk with them all day long. Comfy + great look, perfect combination right?

]]>In this post, I told you about the way I wanted to wear my new Kaftan, that’s the way! It’s exactly how I’ve seen it the minutes I saw this piece at Urban Outfitters. It’s great when a simple piece inspired you immediately, it’s the best!
There’s still snow on the ground in Montreal, but I’m positive that after this week, there will no longer. I have to admit that I’m fed up of that snow, it’s now dirty and I just want to see some green!! Do you have project for the Easter week-end? I have, like every year I will be at Quebec city, see you there for my next post! xxx

]]>I’m back with the second part of my That 70s Show! In this part I want to talk to you about how you can integrate that trend without going full force, like I did in these pictures.
First there’s the key items:
You see you have more than one option to try this trend without looking too “retro”. Want to try that flare comeback? Paired them with a plain white blouse and neutral platform heels. Only with the perfect satchel bag and a great pairs of round sunglasses you will rock that 70s show your own way! I added a Pantone colours palette at the end of the article that define the look, it can help you choose your pieces!

]]>“You fit me better than my favourite sweater”, like Lana Del Ray said (I know she doesn’t mean the jeans) there’s nothing better than a good pair of blue denim jeans. No matter you’re wearing them with your favourite sneaker the casual way, or with a sexy pair of heels, you know that you will look good.
Most of the time in fashion, “Keep It Simple” is the way to go! I just received this new pair of blue skinny from Well binder, do you find they look good on me?

]]>No I didn’t spend the boxing day shopping in Quebec city! I spent that day, walking around the streets of Quebec city with Karim and like every year we ate our favourite pastries at Paillard. I took this opportunity, since the city is so pretty, to take pictures of what I was wearing that day.
How was your Christmas? Have you received what you wanted? If you follow me on Instagram you must have seen what I received from my love, and I also received a The Bay gift card which I think I’m going to go spend today Have a good day xxx

]]>No I’m not in Palm Spring, one of my co-worker, called me this name when she saw my vest this week I have to admit that the sequins mixed with the pattern, make this vest look like it comes right from the 90’s”!
But it’s not, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of years ago in NYC, not in Palm Spring haha! They used to have a collection called Fashion Against AIDS that helped Raise Funds for AIDS. I don’t know why they stopped, I remember that I used to wait for this collection to hit the stores. I love this vest, it’s a perfect item you can add to an outfit to add a touch of fun! Do you have a piece like that in your wardrobe? Tell me about it!
