I’m not talking about the dog, I mean the shoe brand! Jack Purcell is the comfortable version of the classic Chuck Taylor from Converse. They are easy to recognize, wit their iconic black smile at the toe of the shoe!

It has been a while since I wore them, they are perfect to explore a city, and since I was in Quebec City last week-end visiting my family, I brought them in my luggage! They fit perfectly with my casual week-end outfit and they are confortable enough to walk with them all day long. Comfy + great look, perfect combination right?

Made By You

Made By You, is the name of the latest Converse spring 2015 campaign. Who doesn’t own a pair of Chuck Taylor from the iconic brand, right? Everyone has a story whit that shoe, either from your last summer festival with mud still on them, which makes you remember that day, or even your Prom night!!

Can you believe that this shoe exist for almost 100 years? Since 1917, Converse makes the perfect casual shoes that you can wear with literally everything!!! I own 9 pairs of Converse, crazy right, and I love them all. My favourite pair is the one you can see in the picture above, it’s a collab with Maison Margiela. This photo gas been shot during the event, to re-create the Made By You campaign pictures, cool right?

I went to the Made By You spring 2015 launch last week, and Karim and I have been lucky enough to get a pair of custom Chuck Taylor. We designed a logo inside our Chuck’s and our name have been added too, so cool. I will never wear that pair of shoes in a crowed house party haha!!

Palm Spring

No I’m not in Palm Spring, one of my co-worker, called me this name when she saw my vest this week 😉 I have to admit that the sequins mixed with the pattern, make this vest look like it comes right from the 90’s”!

But it’s not, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of years ago in NYC, not in Palm Spring haha! They used to have a collection called Fashion Against AIDS that helped Raise Funds for AIDS. I don’t know why they stopped, I remember that I used to wait for this collection to hit the stores. I love this vest, it’s a perfect item you can add to an outfit to add a touch of fun! Do you have a piece like that in your wardrobe? Tell me about it!

Just Like Cream

Doesn’t it remind you of your childhood, blowing pollen during summer days? It does for me, and I am still doing it every early summer when they pop up everywhere in the city! It’s so good to do the same things, we used to do when we were kids!

What do you think about my outfit? Head to toe cream! It’s not a color I wear often, but I love it with this dress and of course I love my converse, classic! I dressed up last night for a date that I had with my boyfriend, After spending our vacation doing our roof top patio, a relax moment head-to-head was more than welcome!

Converse x Maison Martin Margiela

Yes, I’m one of the lucky girls who got a chance to get a pair of the Converse X Maison Martin Margiela. At first, when I received them, I was tempted to keep them in their box, has they are such a piece of art. But when I tried them on, forget it, they are too cool to keep them in a box!!

Mine will be blue when the paint will crack because that’s the fun of them. You can choose from four colors; yellow, blue, red and black. When the shoes will age, the paint will crack and reveal their colors and personality beneath it. So cool right!?

For this first collaboration with the avant-garde French fashion house, Converse made two silhouettes, the Classic Chuck Taylor Hi All Star and a low Jack Pursell. All of them are hand-painted with the Iconic white paint from the Maison Martin Margiela Fashion House.

The limited edition collaboration is available only at certain retailers, you have to act fast because hey will sell fast!!

Already Wednesday, mid of the week, but this week we have Friday off, so it’s kind of Thursday already whoup whoup!!!! I’m so excited for Easter week-end. Like every year we are going to visit my family and I can’t wait to see my mom 🙂

Still A Kid

It’s been really warm in Montreal or a couple of days, with the humidity it feels like 34 degrees (93 Fahrenheit) so with this weather, I only feel like dressing like when I was a kid, jeans short with a lightweight top. In this outfit I’m wearing a vintage Ralph Lauren cropped top with a pair of DIY Levis short that I made two years ago with an old pair of Levis jeans.

It was a really easy project. I cut them the length that I waned and added some studs to give them a more edgy feel. Especially when is hot like that I never wear make-up, only for special occasions or when I go out.

It is supposed to be a nice here this week, not that humid. So I’ll be able to wear anything that I want and take more outfit posts. Last week was really rainny. Have a good Sunday xxx

First Bike Rides

I’m finally out of the inactivity of winter, we did our first bike ride last Saturday, I don’t know why but didn’t use any sunscreen. Well, I used sunscreen only on my face FAIL!!!! Both of us got our first sunburn. Not big ones, but during a bike ride under the sun when it’s at is zenith, big mistake! We finished our day, by a walk downtown to get our new magazines issues!

I got to use my new Herschel backpack, isn’t perfect!! I got it for my next trip. Speaking of traveling, I’m leaving tomorrow to NYC for business. I can’t wait, I love New York. If you want to see some pictures while I’m gone, you can follow my Instagram

One Outfit During The Day Through The Night

When I know that I have something after work, I do my best to wear one outfit that I can refresh with some minor changes. I leave work, most of the time, late. I don’t really have the time to go home and dress up. So what I did that day, is that I brought a pair of heels and a blazer and that’s it I have a new outfit. I have to keep it easy and because I don’t wear a lot of make up it’s not a problem for me. But for the ones who do need a refresh before going out, just bring your make up essentials in your bag and you are ready for a great night 🙂

That day knowing that I wanted to go for a drink at night I decided to wear my tailor pants from Zara. Because summer is finally here, I turned up the legs of my pants to give them a summer feel. Who said that we can’t turn up tailor pants? 😉 Paired with my tie-die shirt from BCBG and a pair of Chuck Taylor! For the night I brougth my nude wedge sandals and a vintage blazer from Pierre Cardin.

Since summer time is here, I’m in the mood to eat on a terrace and going out!! xoxo

Summer weather finally got here, yay! The sun stays up longer in the evening, giving me the opportunity to show you more outfits during the week! Like this one, this is Monday after work, you can see it by looking at my eyes!! haha they looked tired!

I wore my maxi wolf dress from Zara that I got last summer. It’s a simple dress, but I like the mesh insert at the bottom that gives it a different touch! It’s the kind of piece that I didn’t even try before buying it, straight up to the cash! Easy, cheap, that’s it!

This is what I like about Zara, you can find versions of the latest styles you find on the runaway, great basics and just easy affordable stuff !
